Oxford Welsh Male Voice Choir

Founded in 1928...

St David's Day, Oxford, 1st March 2014

st davids day 2014

It was the first time in many years that our concert was actually on St Davids Day. 37 members of the choir were on stage, which makes it the largest choir for many years.

Helen Swift conducted the choir and Tim Croston was the accompanist. Note: 'little Alex' the dragon.

Hannah Nye had a solo spot and also sang Easter Hymn and Morte Christe with us.

Unfortunatley we only have rehearsal photographs. If you do have any taken on the night please contact us!

We also had guest appearances by Craig Williamson (Conducting and reading) and Alex Howgego who accompanied the students of the Dafydd ap Gwilym Society.

260 people filled the church. Its a shame that I don't have any photos of Helen and Hannah dressed for the concert.
