Festival of Massed Male Voice Choirs
Royal Albert Hall
9th May 2015
This is what 700 singers look like on stage at the Albert Hall. The little figure at the front is Alwyn Humphreys.
Second Tenors get top billing... on the highest seats. Just below them are the Basses.
Basses looking relieved that their solo in 'Old Time Religion' was good enough for Alwyn. Alwyn was also relieved and gave the Basses a special round of applause.
Naughty Tenors showing off as soon as Alwyn leaves the stage!
Look behind you! The Albert Hall is full of Alwyn's spies!
Tenors... right at the front so that Alwyn could keep an eye on them!
Baritones looking very serious... we like to think that we are the most important section!
Helen Swift on stage with all of the other MD's. Her mam really enjoyed the day out... and the afternoon tea in Fortnum's.
They don't think that anybody will notice...
Aaron Pryce-Lewis only 20 years old. Winner of the Welsh Association Award and a vocal finalist for the 2014 Bryn Terfel Scholarship... brought the house down with a beautifully sung 'My Little Welsh Home'.
