Oxford Welsh Male Voice Choir

Founded in 1928...

St John's, Carterton
22 October 2016

It's always a pleasure to visit Carterton. The reception from the
audience is amazing.

One singer isn't in uniform?

The 'culprit' was Phil Davies.... he's the chap in the middle of the back row in the last 2 'group photos'. He was visiting from Ogmore Valley Choir. We will be singing with them in 2017!

Alex Howgego returned as accompanist... assisted by little 'Alex' our red dragon mascot.

Helen Pearce from Steventon Choral Society stepped in as our soloist at the last minute. She really pleased the audience with two rousing sets of songs from the shows.

The afterglow is an important part of the evening. It's a time to relax and sing all of the songs that you didn't sing in the concert. We hope that the folks in the 'Rose and Crown' in Shilton enjoyed the entertainment.
