Mae Croeso I Bawb - All Are Welcome

Joining the Choir

Like most choirs, large and small, we suffer from the problem of natural wastage -
people move, change jobs or their commitments change. Although we are in our 80th year, and the choir is as big as it has ever been, with over 40 choristers on the books, we are always on the look out for new members. We need this to ensure the balance and style of the choir is always up to its usual high standard.

As a choir we aim:

• To achieve the highest possible standards in choral singing
• To produce and perform a balanced repertoire
• To assist with fund raising for local and other charities
• For personal pleasure and comradeship.

If you have a love of music, and are prepared to give the commitment, we would be very pleased to hear from you. Contact our Secretary, whose address is below.

You DO NOT
- have to be Welsh or be able to speak Welsh
- have to be able to read music
- have to have a wonderful voice

YOU JUST NEED TO WANT
- to enjoy singing
- to be part of a team
- to have fun.

You bring yourself and your voice and we’ll do the rest.

We practice every Thursday evening from 7.30 - 9.30pm, with occasional extra rehearsals for special events. We meet at The Oxford Academy, (Music Room), Sandy Lane West, Littlemore, Oxford OX4 6JZ

If you would like to know more before committing why not come to a practice night. With no obligation, you can have a taste of what it feels like to sing and be part of the Oxford Welsh Male Voice Choir.

For more information contact our Secretary, or just turn up to a rehearsal.
